Day 1, 1st of June
Campo Grande airport to Bonito, Southern Mato Grosso

Arrival at Campo Grande airport in the morning, where you will meet your guide and transfer to Bonito. After driving for about 4 hours, we arrive at the Macaws Sink hole. Lunch. Besides scenery we have the best chances of watching and photographing the Red-and-Green Macaws around their nests.

Dinner and overnight Pousada Olha d´agua. (B,L,D).

Day 2

Bonito - Aguapé, Southern Pantanal ranch

After breakfast, check out and we go overland by VAN transfer to our lodge  Aguapé, a family owned and operated working Pantanal ranch, focused on eco-tourism and wildlife. We have chances of seeing blue-and-yellow and red-and-green macaws and feel the force of the howler monkeys roar and share theowner’s passion for nature as the essence of life. The South Pantanal has much more dry land than does the North Pantanal. Here, we have the best chances of seeing both species of Anteaters. Overnight Aguapé lodge. (B,L,D)

Day 3
Traditional Pantanal ranch Fazenda Aguapé

Full day of wildlife spotting at this private reserve. Our activities are a combination of bird wacthing, jeep safaris, night safaris, forest walks, boat safari. Astronomy: hundreds of kilometers away from any bigger city, you will find an amazing detailed sky. See the milkyway in a brightness you haven't seen before.  (B,L,D)

Day 4
Aguapé lodge, departure to Campo Grande.

After early morning activity, breakfast, and another full morning of overland safaris & forest walks. Lunch and check-out.  Transfer to Campo Grande. We drive for about 3,5 hours (with stops for wildlife viewing) and arrive at the airport in Campo Grande.  Flight to Cuiabá at 19:50. Dinner & overnight Slaviero Slim Cuiabá. (B,L,D).

Day 5

Slaviero Slim to Piuval lodge, Northern Pantanal ranch

We start the day at 7am with a breakfast and leave at 8am to the Northern Pantanal. We drive for one and a half hour we arrive in Poconé. From where our wildlife adventure starts as we hit the Transpantaneira road, a dirt road that transects the Northern Pantanal. We stop to photograph a variety of wildlife. We arrive at our lodge around 1pm. Checkin and Lunch at Piuval. This afternoon we go out for an overland safari. Our targets species include the Lowland Tapir, Giant Anteater, Jaguars, to mention but a few. 

At night we go on a night safari in search of nocturnal wildlife such as Ocelot, Puma, Giant Anteaters, Tamandua, Crab-eating Raccoon, Potoos and Owls. Dinner and Overnight.  (B,L,D)

Day 6

Piuval lodge.

Full day of wildlife viweing at this beautiful private reserve. Our activities are a combination of overland safaris, canopy towers, horse back riding, forest walks and night safaris. (B,L,D).

Day 7

Piuval lodge to Porto Jofre, Jaguar land.

Early morning safari before sunrise. Breakfast and checkout. Transfer to Porto Jofre. This morning we drive further south, to Porto Jofre.  Stops for wildlife photogrpahy. We arrive at our destination around 12pm. Checkin and lunch. This afternoon we go out for our first boat safari on the Cuiabá river. We come back to the lodge around sunset. Dinner at Hotel Pantanal Norte. (B,L,D).

Day 8,9,10

In search for Jaguars and other wildlife in the Meeting ofthe Waters State Park. We will have three full days devoted to the boat safari on Cuiabá River and its tributaries, in order to maximize our chances  of watching and photographing Jaguars, Giant River Otters and other wildlife in the Meeting of the Waters State Park. Our outings are always during the day, from sunrise to lunch time and after our midday break we go out again until sunet. Dinner and Overnight. (B,L,D)

Day 11

Porto Jofre to Cuiabá airport

Early breakfast and checkout. This morning we drive back north on the Transpantaneira road. We will stop to photograph all kind fo wildlife on our way to Cuiabá where we should arrive around 1pm. Dropoff at airport or hotel in Cuiabá. (B).
