Day 1.
Cuiabá airport to Taiamã Reserve.

Arrival at Cuiabá airport in the morning, where you will meet your guide and transfer to the Pantanal. After driving about two and a half hour we arrive in Cáceres. From here we hit the a dirt road that transects the Northern Pantanal and we will stop to photograph all kind of wildlife concentrated in small water pools along the road. We will arrive at  our lodge just before lunch time. After our midday break we go on our first boat safari in search for Jaguars and other wildlife, in and around the Taiamã Reserve. Dinner and Overnight. (L,D).

Days 2,3&4.
In search for Jaguars and other wildlife in the Taiamã Reserve.

We will have three full days devoted to the boat safaris on the Paraguay River and its tributaries, in order to maximize our chances of watching and photographing Jaguars, Giant River Otters and other wildlife. Our outings will always be during the day, cruising the rivers in search of Jaguars and other willdlife. Dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

Days 5.
Taiamã Reserve and transfer to Pantanal ranch.

Breakfast and transfer to a traditional Pantanal ranch. We will arrive there around lunch time. After our midday break we go on a forest walk in search for dry land mammals and birds. At night we go on a night  safari in search for night animals like Ocelot, Puma, Giant Anteater, Tamandua, Crab-eating Raccoon, Potoos and Owls. Dinner and Overnight. (B,L,D).

Day 6.
Full day Pantanal ranch.

Full day of activities in this huge private game reserve. Our activities are a combination of overland safaris, forest walks and night safaris. We start early before sunrise until 10.30am and after a midday break the activities start again at 3.30pm until sunset. At night we go out in search for night animals after dinner. (B,L,D).

 

 

Day 7.

Pantanal ranch and transfer back to Cuiabá airport.

Full morning to explore the many wildlife opportunities in this big private reserve. After lunch check out and transfer back to Cuiabá airport.
