PORTO JOFRE JAGUAR SAFARI 6N
Photo: Pantanal Jaguar Safaris
CUIABÁ RIVER & MEETING OF THE WATERS STATE PARK
OVERVIEW
ITINERARY
-
On this tour, we cover the entire length of the Transpantaneira Road. At the heart of this wild landscape lies a labyrinth of rivers forming the Meeting of the Waters State Park, widely known as the Jaguar Zone.
-
Our many years of experience tracking Jaguars in the Pantanal enable us to guide you to the most productive areas of this vast reserve, offering excellent opportunities to observe and photograph these elusive cats.
-
This tour also produce close encounters with a remarkable range of wildlife, including Ocelots, Tapirs, Hyacinth Macaws, Jabiru Storks, Giant Anteaters, Giant River Otters and, of course, Jaguars, to name but a few.
-
A longer stay in Porto Jofre significantly increases the chances of witnessing and photographing a wide range of jaguar behaviours, from hunting and territorial interactions to relaxed moments along the riverbanks, as well as encountering multiple individual animals.
-
Tailor-made Tours to meet your requirements.
-
We recommend a minimum stay of three nights in the Porto Jofre area to make the most of the jaguar-viewing opportunities.
-
Option of land-based or floating/ boat-hotel accommodation.
