TERMS & CONDITIONS
Pantanal Jaguar Safaris, is a Brazil based registrated company with licensed guides. Please read our Travel Info and Terms and Conditions carefully as these form the basis of our obligations to you and vice versa. In these terms and conditions, “you” means all persons named on the booking (including anyone who is added or substituted at a later date) and “we” and “us” means Pantanal Jaguar Safaris.
On occasions due to circumstances beyond our control the terms may be amended; please note that the terms that you receive on confirmation of booking are the terms that are valid. Upon payment of deposit it is taken that you understand that in our destination countries service levels, infrastructure, levels of hygiene, safety and security may be lower than you are used to in your country of residence. It is important to adhere to local laws and regulations of the destination country when travelling with Pantanal Jaguar Safaris and these are the laws and regulations that will apply to your holiday not those of your country of residence.
ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
All information that we have provided including on our website and in our brochure is given in good faith and up to date representation whether it is of a national park, reserve, wildlife, accommodation, food, security, jaguar visibility, itineraries or weather. We pride ourselves on our accuracy of information however do not accept liability or responsibility for any errors caused by circumstances out of our control.
We are unable to pay compensation or accept liability where the performance of our services are prevented or affected by any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due diligence, prevent or foresee. These events include extreme weather conditions, park closures, mechanical problems with transport, terrorist activities, fire, flooding, disease or any similar results that are out of our control.
Pantanal Jaguar Safaris strongly recommends travel insurance. Appropriate insurance should cover the following: repatriation, cancellation or curtailment, medical expenses, loss of luggage, death, illness, loss or theft of personal property. Please note that more adventurous activities such as tracking wild animals, horse back riding, and crossing canopy walkways should also be covered.
Please ensure that you have read and are happy with the final quotation and itinerary before booking and making payment. Please check, the number of people travelling, room allocations, accommodation, dates of travel, meal plans, National Parks/reserves to be visited, mode of transport and what is included or excluded.
We reserve the right to correct any published prices, quote and itineraries and will do so when we become aware of such an error.
In order to book your holiday a deposit of 30% of the total amount payamble must be received before any arrangements are put in place. The deposit is NON REFUNDABLE. If not possible to travel due to COVID-19 , the deposit can be used integral and carried over to another tour at any other time in the future. Please confirm acceptance of our terms and conditions in writing. We will assume acceptance of our terms and conditions if no written confirmation is received. Balance payments must be received no later than 60 days before departure. If bookings are made within 60 days of departure full payment is due. Final payment can be made by money order, or wire transfer. We accept PayPal, however PayPal card charges 7,4% in fees to process the transaction. We do not mark our trips to cover that. If you still wish to use PayPal to pay your balance, we need the fee covered.
CANCELLATIONS BY YOU
If you or any person that you are travelling with is forced to cancel your holiday you must notify us in writing as soon as possible. Once we have received your notification in writing your cancellation is effective, until this time it is not.
In order to cover any costs incurred by your cancellation as we may be unable to resell your holiday or the services that we have put in place costs and cancellation fees will be charged as follows:
For cancellations made between 59 to 39 days of departure, 50% of total payment will be refunded. Any cancellation made 39 days or less than that, before tour starts, qualify for no refund. Purchase Travelers Insurance if you are concerned about this possibility. Once the tour has started, no refunds will be given for unused service.
Prices INCLUDE accommodation as stated, meals as stated, guide, driver, vehicle, park fees as stated, transfers. Prices EXCLUDE tips, laundry, visas, flights, items of a personal nature. In the event of unforeseen circumstances – security issues, weather conditions, park closures, border closures etc - we reserve the right to amend the confirmed itinerary; please note that we will always try and replace any particular service with something of equal quality and interest, on occasions due to circumstances beyond our control this is not always possible.
We make every effort to ensure that all vehicles used are in a comfortable and road worthy condition and adhere to the local government transport regulations. Passengers are liable for any damage caused to the vehicle that occurs through their interference with the vehicle.

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) Policy – Pantanal Jaguar Safaris
Due to the recent Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak, Pantanal Jaguar Safaris has made special provision for amendments to existing and forthcoming bookings for tours starting in 2020.
The below conditions are only applicable if the World Health Organisation explicitly recommend travel restrictions to, or, if home countries have imposed travel restrictions.
1. You may amend your booking by postponing the same tour for ani available date, later in 2020, with same Tour quote, or 2021, at the same 2020 rates, subject to point 2 & 3 below.
2. If you wish to transfer your booking to a date in 2021 and maintain the 2020 Tour quote, the balance of the Tour should be done 60 calendar days prior to the day on which the Tour begins.
3. Bookings may be amended free of charge up to 60 calendar days prior to the day on which the tour begins. If the restrictions are still in place, or at risk of being in place between 30 and 60 calendar days prior to the start of the tour, then we will, in consultation with you, decide whether the tour should proceed, or be postponed. If you wish to amend a booking less than 30 days prior to the beginning of the tour, then our standard Terms and Cancellation fees shall apply. These conditions are not applicable to expenses or costs not included in the tour price such as, flights, extra accommodation or transfers that may have been invoiced and paid for already. These costs carry our standard Terms and cancellation fees. In such instances, you are advised to claim a refund from your personal travel insurance.
4. Pantanal Jaguar Safaris reserves the right to make changes to the above policy from time to time. Such changes will be posted to our website, they will not be emailed.
